Cryptic Muse is a word pattern search engine, as well as a dictionary
and thesaurus
lookup engine. It creates its own database of words to perform
fast searches.
Cryptic Muse comes in the form of a library, so it can be used from any application.
If you'd like to use Cryptic Muse in your application, here's what you need:
the libcmuse package
the cmuse_words_en package
the cmuse_makedata package
If you just want to see what anagrams you can make out of your name, or find out what words besides "cafe, babe, decaff and facade" only contain the letters a, b, c, d, e, and f, then you'll also need:
the cmuse_term package, for a text-based interface, or
the cmuse_gnome package to do searches from a Gnome/Gtk+ GUI.
